Xplor Feature Requests

Would love a feature where Families re enrol and the requested days are automatically entered into the waitlist until confirmation from Admin. Now you have to request and then manually enter each booking, a lot of work for 250 Families.

The software is aimed at long day care. We are an OSHC service and find some of the features not suitable for OSHC. We don't have rooms that children spend a year or so in, we don't need an end date to be mandatory to progress with the enrolment, the mandatory end date is not necessary for OSHC. The 'email already exists' is very frustrating. Why can't people have children at long day care and OSHC and use the same email? This just causes a problem for parents, the +1 solution is problematic as well as parents don't remember this when they sign in. Qikkids didn't have this block.

When uploading paperwork on behalf of families, we set an expiration date (IE, medication). We then get notified when this is close to expiring and it is red flagged when it has expired. It would be handy and free up alot of office time, if this same notification was sent out to families; informing them of their child/rens upcoming/expired dates.

When a parent sends an absent request (yes, we don't use it automatically here) or any booking, we would like to reply with a message. Please can a comment section be created to the reply. Thanks

Re Enrolments need to have the same functionality as the Enrolment. Parents should be able to request changes to required days of care without having to create this manually outside of Xplor!!

For educators to have the ability to sort children by class in the Xplor Playground App. This would be especially helpful for large OSHC services who need to sign large groups of children in by classes. It is less time-consuming than searching each child's name, or for scrolling through names to find the correct child.

Enable staff sign in to the hub, without having to be rostered on. We dont use the Xplor rostering system, but would like staff to be able to sign in and out to help with emergency drills etc.

The current use of Xplor is very Early Learning based, OSHC doesn't need monitoring for nappy changes and the time frames we need to set for our booking rules are very difficult especially if you have different rooms and multiple children families We need something that lets us pick Before or after school care and also doesn't have the extra Long Day Care stuff, a basic OSHC App is all thats needed

It would be great if we could send observations without having to add photos. Often we have really meaningful discussions with children that we want to share with families but we don't have any photos to accompany the story. Often we don't want to interrupt the great learning experience to go get an ipad. We are trying to use 'Documents' to do this instead but it isn't very user friendly. Maybe we could have a feature when doing an observation to add a background to the text (like facebook status updates) instead of having to upload photos.
