Xplor Feature Requests

It would be very helpful if staff could view the weekly roll for their room, we provide casual bookings when other children are on holidays or absent, educators need to be able to check bookings in advance for planning, beds etc and verbal reminders often get forgotten when your busy looking after children and as rolls can change often and at short notice printing can be a costly option.

When an allergy is put in the allergies field in xplor the red heart icon appears in playground however if a 'Medical Condition' (e.g. Epilepsy) is noted in the 'Medical Conditions' field in xplor profile this does not result in the red heart icon (or a different icon/symbol) appearing on the child's profile in Playground. Note a request was opened in 2019 titled 'Improved Health/Medical Management in Playground' and has since been completed - however the health/medical tag/icon hasn't fully been actioned as not picking up on the 'Medical Condition' field or 'Prescribed Medications' field.

The ability to sign in to the centre, which room you are signing into and if you are responsible person for that day

I just received a moment sent to me on Xplor, and it is so lovely and extends the child’s learning beautifully. I would love to link it to her observation so that the family and other educators can reflect and review everything later, along with all the relevant documents captured surrounding this learning journey. However, I can only write it in and don’t have the option to link it to moments or documents. I feel this could be a useful feature for moments shared from home. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can do this? Or should I email Xplor to suggest adding a link option for moments and documents to connect them to observations, plans, and snapshots? Additionally, what do others think about this? I love the link button when it's provided as an option, but I feel if you do link it, there could be slight improvements. For example, if a link is made, it could automatically link both ways, not just to the initial link. This could save time and reduce double handling

Can we please add the following options to incident forms or alternatively have a space to type a role when selecting 'Others'; Acting Director, Assistant Director, Responsible person

We have had difficulty with posts since the app updated on Friday, across all updated devices. The keyboard lags or doesn’t show up (only in the playground app), a notification is continually popping up saying a post hasn’t uploaded from two weeks ago when it has actually uploaded, and assuming we’re able to type something, the posts don’t post and everything written disappears. As you can imagine, families are getting frustrated that they haven’t been getting updates on activities. My coworker e-mailed Xplor on Friday and I e-mailed Monday but we haven’t had a response. Is anyone else having these issues?

Hi, I'd like the option to double-click on an older post and open it in a new tab. How can I easily access older posts next time without having to scroll all the way back to them? Regards, Aniela

Having an undo button in the programming section. Allowing for more than one photo to be added in the "documents" section.

Is there a way you can add a feature where parents can communicate with the educators through the app? Something similar to how we make posts to them?
