Currently, the desktop sign-in version of Xplor does not offer the ability to view notifications or track the child’s progress throughout the day. It would be incredibly helpful if this feature could be added, allowing parents to receive updates and check on their child’s activities from the desktop version of the platform. As a parent who works in a prison setting, I am unable to use my mobile phone during work hours, which makes it difficult to stay updated on my child's day while they are in care. Benefits of this feature: *Peace of Mind: Parents would have a way to stay informed about their child’s well-being and daily activities even when they cannot access mobile phones due to work restrictions. *Better Communication: It would allow for more seamless communication between parents and caregivers, enabling real-time feedback or questions about the child’s day. *Support for Working Parents: For parents in situations like mine, where mobile phone access is not possible, being able to monitor updates from the desktop would ensure that we can still stay connected to our child’s care. *Improved Parental Involvement: The ability to check in on a child’s progress during the day would increase parental engagement and understanding of their child's routine and activities. *Consistency in Care: Parents would be able to provide timely input or ask questions based on real-time updates, helping ensure consistent care throughout the day. I believe adding this feature would be beneficial for many parents, especially those in environments where phone access is restricted. It would offer a more accessible way for us to stay involved in our children’s daily care.
