Authorised contact sign in and out

Can we work towards implementing a system that helps support authorised contacts who are the older generation who don't have email addresses. Completely understand why this system has this process in place. However, I am aware of a few grandparents within our service who don't feel comfortable in using technology but are the only source of contact for children to be authorised due to family needs. Can we find a solution that caters to all.
Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need clarification on (02) 6026 3908.

Even to be able to say they are authorised to collect with out the need to add an email address would be great! at the moment all we can add is emergency contact even though they have permission to collect by the parents.

For Additional Contacts / Emergency Contacts it would be amazing if we could make the email address optional when adding. We deal with children at risk and additional contact can be DCJ or outside agencies that don't necessarily want to share their email. It is also a rare event that you would email a contact anyway. This has considerable security risks for us as foster families sometimes don't have an email address being that some of them are elderly and don't bother with that. Could you please change the requirements in this feature as soon as possible.

Why have Xplor not recognised this as needing immediate action. Seems like it’s in the too hard basket. Would be very beneficial for all families and services. The work arounds are time consuming and our service has had to implement extra processes to comply with the Regs when guests don’t have emails or have children to collect across multiple services.

Kell Townsend: I totally agree. This is making me want to move away from Xplor. I have so many families who are having difficulties with this part & I have escalated it with Xplor help & the two suggests I was given was add a +1 to their email addresses or make them get another email address. Not acceptable.

Authorised for collection without email address

We need to be able to create authorised contacts without email addresses as many don't have one (e.g. grandparents). We used to be able to assign them 'collection' without an email address attached. but now can no longer do so!!

Option for mobile & pin for Hub Guest

It would be great to have this system setup like Qikkids Kiosk. Everyone has not got an email address (especially grandparents). It should be as simple as Qikkids Kiosk. Setup mobile & pin.

The work around with centres who have multiple centres in one is not ideal either. Having to add a +1 to the contacts email address & then an 0 in the number. This needs to be address ASAP please. EG Long day care, Occasional Care & OOSH Centre.

I totally agree & have had the same issues. Qikkids kiosk is so much better. Only needed mobile numbers & pins to setup.

It would be great if this can be done! Other apps like Storypark let family access the pictures of the day. For grandparents living overseas this feature just makes them feel a bit closer to the kiddies.
