Financials for second parent

Or if the primary carer trusts the secondary, they could just give them their log-in details. Some add secondary by accident and would never want them to have access to billing info. BTW, I'm pretty sure this has been added months ago and likely has higher votes there (including mine) to get this actioned sooner.

We have many families where the children are under the mother's CRN so she must be primary carer but the dad is in charge of paying accounts, or in the cases of split parent agreements where the primary carer (in Xplor) is not the person responsible for paying. For services this means keeping a list of parents who aren't the primary carer who require a copy of the statement each week and individually downloading their statement and emailing it to them. Parents should be able to nominate a payment nominee, then that the nominated person can accept the nomination. This would allow more parent control in their payments and also allow more parents to use Xpay.

Agreed. There should be a way to opt additional carer profiles/email addresses into receiving communication like emails, posts and invoices. We have a number of families where both parents need to see our communication, but the non-primary carer pays the invoices.

Agreed. Even for parents who are in mediation, they both need to see the financial not just the CRN parents.

Agreed! However, I would like to see an added security step to this new feature. For example, the Primary Account Holder MUST agree and consent for the control of finances to be given to Additional Carer. OR Perhaps Additional Carer can only SEE the Statement, CWA and all other financial information in the App, but not be able to pay.
The above aims to recognise and mitigate against financial abuse between carers.

Yes, and should ne able to receive a copy of fee statements, this would save us emailing separate pdf statements to the other parent, who want to receive it

We have many of our families in this situation. We are new to Xplor and I am concerned that our families will end up getting their partner's login details which will then conflict with our sign in/out system since they are then likely to log in as the other partner.
