Current Parents who need to become a Guest for another current parent.

For a current parent to become a guest for another current parent - It is now requiring the current guest parent to create a new email address and new phone number - this is far to complicated. Xplor needs a simpler process for a current parent to become another current parent's guest pick up. Therefore, when they log in with their phone to sign their own child in and out, the guest child will also appear.

YES!! This current process is so frustrating for parents and educators.

I agree and can't believe that this is a thing to be honest. I don't believe we should be having to add +1 or 00 in emails/numbers either....

Yes, a complicated workaround especially when explaining to parents/grandparents when English is not their first language. We have a lot of OSHC families offering to help each other out with pick-ups for after school activities etc. When using Qikkids we had no issues of adding an existing parent as a contact for another family. Xplor please fix this. Thanks

Parents at a service who become contacts are set up by the Admins:
For example- the parents email is parent@hotmail.com with Phone Number 0400123123
When adding as a contact you would write parent+1@hotmail.com with PN the same but tell the parent when they set up that profile so use a different phone number- the easiest one I've found it adding an extra 0 at the start so 00400123123
Parent would then use that 00 phone number and pin setup off that contact creation to be able to sign child in/out of the service.
This is something across softwares required to keep the parent and contact accounts separate- as you can't sign out one child without the other appearing wanting a sign out as well.

Agreed... but in the meantime, you can always add "61" to the beginning of the phone number and "+1" in front of the "@" symbol of their email address to add the same parent as a collector of another child. It's a long way to go about it, and annoying because the parent needs to remember which mobile number is for their own child and which is for their friend's child... but it can be done. It would be much easier to have a simpler solution though :-)

love this idea - would be a lot easier

I couldn't agree more Xplor needs to simplify the process.

yes very annoying - I have added the parent who regularly collects another child in their profile as parent guardian of the child being collected - they can then sign the child out - no need for new email address - the xplor programmers need to visit centres and see how the limitations of their software are often time consuming for operators

Xplor - you really should find a way to accommodate this, it is so frustrating trying to explain this process to parents.

this would be great for us as we have had to do a different process for this as parents do not want to make a new email or phone number
