Comms Centre - Parents not seeing messages!!!

Posts made on the comms centre should pop up on the parent app over everything else when the app is opened (a bit like the hub messages) so parents are forced to see the messages. LOTS of parents are not reading or seeing messages being sent. there is no point having admin messages sent through here if they are being ignored or not seen.

It would be great if we could also see if families have actually opened/read the email sent via Comms. I've seen this feature on a competitors platform which would be a great.

It would also be great if you could filter families better when sending posts. Like 'Active'/ 'Waitlist' parents or rooms.

We currently only have 5% of our parents viewing messages sent through comms centre. I feel that like Natasha mentioned below it would be good to have it as a tab down the bottom, maybe even with a little notification symbol if there are unread messages.

I actually had a parent come in to request this as she did not notice a message we sent to her about her child's bag being left at the Service even though her notifications were turned on. Had there have been a notification within the app like an unread message pop up or notification marker down the bottom she would have know to look fo rthe message. The parent did not even realise there was a message section under the account tab.

Absolutely agree! Even better would be to have a separate tab on the Xplor Home App (similar to Learning, Health, etc.) for the Comms Centre with notifications linked to an ongoing thread/message board. I would deem this an urgent request as we have minimal parents seeing posts.

Come on xplor! it has been 3mths since this was brought up as an issue. Parents are not getting VITAL messages!!!! this needs fixing ASAP!!! Ricali Ebejer THIS HAS TO BE A PRIORITY!

Additionally if you choose to email a comms post they are going to the parents spam folder. We don't have time to chase all parents to mark our messages as not spam in order to rectify this and it is unclear if this will fix future posts anyway. We need it fixing so message don't go to spam.
