Cancellation Periods different for Casual vs Permanent Bookings

Great that you are now able to set a cancellation period in the absence settings so bookings can be cancelled out of a specific timeframe. However, our notice period for Casual Bookings different from our notice period for Permanent Bookings.
We need to be able to set a a notice period for Permanent Bookings that is different to that for Casual Bookings.
Why can you define different period by room and not by booking type?
